Why is Park Place a Church Partner of Mission First?
Park Place is a church partner of Mission First because we believe that it is our responsibility to be witnesses in our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Ends of the Earth. We actually consider this part of our Judea because even though it is fairly local, it is not our direct community. We believe that the ministry at Mission First is both vibrant, broad and biblically based.
Do you feel it is important to place a priority on local missions? If so, why?
Absolutely. It is not only important, it is required in scripture.
Is it important for believers to be engaged in serving on a consistent basis? If so, why?
It is proof of fruit in a believer's life that they are engaged in serving the Lord. That may look different for different individuals, however, it is most definitely part of God's plan.
Does being a Church Partner of Mission First expand your church's ability to serve others in the name of Christ? If so, how?
Yes. It expands our ability in that we can immediately provide opportunities for any age of our congregation. We have taken children as young as 5 (with their parents) as well as senior adults over the age of 75 to do ministry and Mission First provides opportunities for all ages in between.
