WHO: Anyone who, has an Adjusted Gross Income of less than $31,000 or qualifies for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Earned Income Tax Credit means that earned income less than:
· $43,352 ($48,362 if married filing jointly) with 3 or more qualifying
children
· $40,363 ($45,373 if married filing jointly) with 2 qualifying children
· $35,535 ($40,545 if married filing jointly) with 1 qualifying child
· $13,460 ($18,470 if married filing jointly) with no qualifying children
WHAT: Local attorneys and law students are volunteering to assist qualified participants in E-FILING their federal and state tax returns at our Tax Preparation Assistance Clinic using TurboTax Online.

WHEN: Every Saturday, January 29th through March 5th, 2011, from 9:00 am – Noon. Appointments are recommended but not required. To schedule an appointment, please call 601.608.0056.

We will assist you in filing your return using our computers at Mission First Legal Aid Office because we want to serve you. ***Taxpayers who receive K-1’s, 1099-Misc, earnings from sale of stock, clergy income, or earnings from self-employment will NOT qualify for our assistance.
