Christmas Store Service Opportunities

Is your business, school, church, Sunday school class, or community group looking for a way to serve our greater community this Christmas season? Our 15th annual Christmas Store at Mission First is Dec. 19th, and we’re already excitedly recruiting sponsors to make this year’s store a blessing for the families of our education program!


We are offering table sponsors for the first time this year at Christmas Store! A table sponsor can be an individual or group of people who shop for a specific item from our needs list of 100 children, purchase the items, and then decorate their display table with the items at Mission First prior to Dec. 19th.


We realize shopping and purchasing 100 items can be a lot! We are also in need of group would like to contribute in part to the total amount needed for a certain table, please find the individual per item cost included in the information below.


Who We Serve:

We get to know the Mission First children and families receiving Christmas Store items as they all attend our Children’s Educational After School Programming on our two campuses. It is a privilege to know their little personalities well, and we also know each of you will bring much excitement to their Christmas! This year our Christmas Store will reach 100 children, who attend Jackson Public Schools in preschool through fifth grade. In effort to surprise our students and bless their parents Christmas Day, the children do not know about this event. Their parents come December 19th to Mission First’s main campus and participate in Christmas Store.

How to Get Involved

They are many ways to participate with Christmas Store!

  1. We always need volunteers the week prior to Christmas Store to help us sort, label, and display items! Please email Laura Beasley for times & dates available.

  2. Become a table sponsor by adopting an entire item off our needs list, shopping for the item from our child specific sizing chart, and providing 100 total of this item for our 100 children. Table Sponsors are invited to set up & display their table in Christmas cheer prior to December 19th!

  3. Contribute towards a needed item! This can look many different ways, and doesn’t require using our child specific sizing chart. For example, it could be you individually shopping for a few backpacks, or toys, and providing them for Christmas Store. Or perhaps your church wants to do an item specific item or toy drive for Christmas Store. This could look like a church wide effort to bring winter jackets in various sizes from extra small to extra large, and then our staff would sort and apply them to our needs list.


We are so grateful for each of you in helping provide a special Christmas for our families! Hours for Volunteers

December 11th-15th: 10AM-3PM

December 14th: Evening Set Up, 5:30-7:30 

December 19th: Christmas Store! 2:30- 7:00
