Celebrating 20 years with our Mission First Family
Updated: Nov 19, 2021
We are incredibly thankful for ALL of our Mission First staff (some not pictured).
On October 31st, we officially celebrated 20 years as a ministry! We had a time of fellowship and feasting to recognize our staff's service in our ministry.
Here are a few photos from our time together. Mission First staff and family were able to share in this time of celebrating together!
Coach Willis Bridges was presented a plaque and a scholarship fund set up in his name.
Here, "Coach" and his family gather around for a photo to remember the day.
Our Executive Director, Lee Thigpen presented "Coach" his plaque and spoke a few words about what he has meant to our ministry.
Having been with Mission First since 2003, we wanted to take a special moment to honor Coach Willis Bridges and his time with us over the years. As a man who wears many hats in our ministry, "Coach" has poured into so many lives in the name of Jesus!
We set up the Willis Bridges Scholarship Fund to commemorate his service with us. A plaque was presented to Coach which reads: "In recognition of your selfless acts of time and dedication, commitment to the Gospel message, investment in the lives of students, and for showing us all what it is to be a servant leader."
To close, we'd like to leave you with this video of Mission First's work over the past 20 years. God has done immeasurably more than what we could have ever asked or imagined!
