Our OASIS after school students have been working on memorizing Bible verses throughout the school year. We had a celebration for all of the hard work they've put in! Certificates of achievement were handed out, prizes including children's books were given to students with the most Bible verses memorized, and food was brought in and enjoyed by our students on this special occasion!
Hiding God's Word in our heart helps us to resist temptation and honor God by doing what is right because His Word is a guide for our life. Our prayer is that these students will continue to practice Bible verse memorization throughout their entire lives!
